Real Wedding at Sails Noosa - Anita & Peter
Anita & Peter's wedding reminded me classic of black tie old Hollywood! Their ceremony was held at Maison La Plage Grove on the manicured lawns near the beach with their ceremony in Noosa at Sails Restaurant.
The Bridal Makeup: Glowing Skin & Smokey Eyes
Anita showed me a very popular reference photo for her desired makeup look - a smokey eye, glowing skin and softly contoured cheeks. Although her reference image was quite dark on the eyes I adjusted the look to suit Anita's features and the daytime wedding that it was. There's nothing worse than looking and feeling over done on your wedding day and I always make sure I keep things wearable for my brides.
Anita's sparkling clear blue eyes were perfect for smokey eyes! A few individual lashes gave volume and definition without looking too much.
DARB Couture created Anita's stunning gown which had a removable skirt as you'll see in the pictures. Such a beautiful gown that had versatility for day/night. Anita's all neutral colour palette for her dress and flowers worked so well with Peter's classic black tie suit. Her wedding look will never date in photographs.
