Julianne and Jules were married last year at Maleny Manor in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. I've been wanting to share these images for some time but time gets away! I just love how the fog of the Hinterland played a big part in their photos. Although I'm sure they really wished for a clear, sunny day these are the types of days that create beautiful photographs unlike anyone else's. Julianne was prepared in that she had bright pink gum boots at the ready for the bridal party. As you'll see in the photos despite the rain they all still had fun!

The Bridal Makeup: Romantic and Classic

Julianne's makeup look was soft, romantic, classic and polished. With Julianne's makeup I kept her eyes the focus creating a clean smokey eye with the help of neutral shadows and individual lashes. Julianne had gorgeous skin so I kept her foundation light and fresh. It was a very humid day so sweating and shine were a concern but with the help of the right foundation and primer I was able to create a look that would last.

Julianne's bridesmaid's makeup was a softer more natural version of Julianne's look. I often do this with the bridesmaid's makeup to help keep the bride the focus. I had great help from Natalie Hunter in doing 2 of the bridesmaids on the day.

For her flower girls I gave them both a glowing cheek and glossy lips. The gorgeous flower crowns really made their look complete with their soft curls by Hair by Nicola.

Sorry it has taken me so long to send you through this e-mail. Jules and I have been on a long honeymoon and only just arrived home in Sydney this morning.Thank you so much for making all of us (along with Natalie) look so beautiful. Your style is so classic and elegant and I couldn't be happier with how we all looked on the day. Our makeup stayed put the whole night and even managed to withstand the ridiculous amounting of sweating that went on during our very humid ceremony. Besides your obvious talent, you are such a calm and relaxing person to be around. It was a pleasure to be in the company of someone as lovely as you on my wedding day. I am so glad you could be part of our special day.
